Board of Technical Education Center, Islamabad is a registered institution under Act XXI of 1860, officially recognized by the Government of Pakistan. The center is dedicated to promoting technical and vocational education, offering a range of skill-based programs to empower students with practical knowledge and industry-relevant expertise. The basic aims of Board of Technical Education Center Islamabad are to promote Technical / Health Education and to provide well-trained and highly Skilled Professionals to Society and to decrease unemployment graph level. It is an employer-led autonomous organization functioning under the National Training Board on the methodology of public & private partnership
Our Aim
The main purpose and aim of the association is to provide the technical and professional diplomas to the students according to their skills and techniques to enhance and technical manpower of of Pakistan. We conduct trade tests and certifies the skilled persons and trainers who may have received vocational training through any source or acquired the skill through experience or informal system

- Government Recognized Experience Based Certification/RPL Mode:
- If an individual possesses experience in the relevant field and can support this claim with written proof (like an experience letter, etc.), they are eligible to be awarded a 1 or 2-year Professional Certification from the Govt of Pakistan.
- The certification can be obtained in the shortest possible time, ranging from 2 to 3 months.
Terms and Conditions:
- The institute will only offer and conduct training in disciplines that it can manage independently or in collaboration with other institutions.
- It is the responsibility of the institute to maintain all educational and professional records of its students.
- Student records must be provided to BTEC Islamabad upon request; failure to do so may result in the diploma being considered cancelled.
- The institute is responsible for training students according to recognized syllabi.
- Upon completion of the syllabi, the institute will conduct examinations and properly evaluate the students.
- The institute is responsible for arranging Trade Tests for students seeking diplomas/certificates through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) system, experience-based assessment, or distance learning/assignment-based methods.
- BTEC is not responsible for attestation of testimonials by any agency in Pakistan. It is the institute’s responsibility to inform students, prior to their enrollment, that the BTEC diploma/certificate is competency/skill-based and does not have equivalency with any board, university, or agency in Pakistan.
- No advertisements shall be made without obtaining prior permission from BTEC Islamabad.
- BTEC Islamabad reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or suspend the affiliation without assigning any reason or prior notice.
Working Mechanism
BTEC design and develop training courses in accordance with emerging needs with the involvement of experts from relevant industry. BTEC does not have its own training institutes but collaborates and works in partnership with industry, training institutes / colleges and other organizations to arrange training which is:

Our Courses
MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
Mechanical engineers design power-producing machines, such as electric generators, internal combustion engines, and steam and gas turbines, as well as power-using machines, such as refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. Mechanical engineers design other machines inside buildings, such as elevators and escalators
ACCOUNT AND FINANCE
A Financial Accountant is responsible for running the accounting and financial activities of an organization. They analyze the economic stability of the company and provide financial information to other departments, enabling these departments to make budgeting and investment decisions
HOTEL MANAGEMENT
A Hotel Manager oversees all operations and day-to-day activities in a hotel organization. They take on a variety of duties including managing everything from accounting, sales, business development, and customer service. Also referred to as a Hotel Operations Manager.

Students who choose vocational courses are preferred more as compared to college pass outs by various companies as they have the right and appropriate kind of knowledge and education for that industry. It’s not only limited to Pakistan but you will also get the opportunity to move abroad.
Affordability
Both private and government institutions provide these courses as their expenses are very less. Sometimes they even provide you with scholarships if you clear certain conditions. These are better as compared to three or five-year degree courses.
